Research Team Members

We are an interdisciplinary research team in Treaty Four and Six Territories and the Homeland of the Métis (Saskatchewan, Canada). We aim to advocate for better health care and miyomāhcihowin (the Cree word for good health and well-being) among Indigenous peoples living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) through community-based evidence.

Indigenous patients and family advocates (IPFAs, Indigenous individuals living with IBD and family members of an Indigenous person with IBD), knowledge users (health care providers and decision-makers), and Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars compose our research team.
