Dr. Germain Bukassa Kazadi is a physician by training who has sound experience in working with Indigenous communities of Saskatchewan. He earned his medical, and master’s degrees respectfully from the University of Kinshasa (DRC) and the University of Montreal. From 2008 to 2011, he has worked as an HIV Field Surveillance Officer with the Public Health Agency of Canada. In late 2011, he joined FNIHB/Health Canada, where he advocated for disadvantaged populations to get better access to care for STI’s, TB and blood-borne pathogen infections (Hepatitis C virus and HIV Infections). Since November 2019, he was deployed as a volunteer and latterly as CDC consultant in the DRC to provide technical assistance to the Ebola, COVID-19, and other infectious disease epidemics in DRC. Dr. Bukassa Kazadi is an experienced health officer and public health professional. |
