Dr. Ulrich Teucher

Dr. Ulrich Teucher is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Teucher worked as a pediatric nurse in a children’s cancer ward in Germany before enrolling in Comparative Literature and Psychology at the University of British Columbia. In his Narrative Lab, Dr. Teucher and his students analyze patients’ narratives of living with illness to help improve and personalize healthcare. His research is in the field of culture, health, and human development. Dr. Teucher has carried out cultural studies of illness and identity using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. |
